According to a new CDC report (2022), research has documented that mental health among children and adolescents is associated with immediate and long-term physical health and chronic disease, health risk behaviors, social relationships, education, and employment. Prevalence of youth mental health continues to be problematic. ADHD and anxiety are the most present mental health disorders for youth in the United States impacting 1 out of 11 children as indicated by CDC. Over one third of youth report major episodes of sadness and hopelessness. We must do whatever it takes to teach coping skills, build internal resilience and promote overall well being for our leaders of tomorrow. Whatya think?
